Vaux-Rouillac is a French municipality with 297 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Cognac and the canton of Val de Nouère (until 2015 Rouillac ).

Vaux-Rouillac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Rouillac in the north and west, Saint-Cybardeaux in the northeast, Échallat in the east and southeast, Fleurac in the south, Foussignac in the south and southwest and Sigogne in the west.
