Val des Vignes is a French commune with 1,428 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the canton of Charente-Sud and the arrondissement of Cognac .
It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2016 through the amalgamation of the former municipalities of Aubeville , Péreuil , Jurignac and Mainfonds , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Jurignac.
