IC 4719 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sd in the constellation Telescope in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 135 million light years from the Milky Way and about 55,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy IC 4716 .
The supernova SN 1934A was observed here.
The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on September 14, 1901 .
