IC 4714 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation Peacock on southern sky . It is estimated to be 200 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 80,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies IC 4710 and IC 4713 .
The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on August 18, 1900 .
