IC 4713 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBm in the constellation Peacock in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 241 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 80,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies IC 4710 and IC 4714 .
The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on August 18, 1900 .
