IC 4702 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SB0 / a in the constellation Peacock in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 199 million light years from the Milky Way and about 90,000 light years across.

The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on September 14, 1901 .
