IC 4708 is a compact galaxy of Hubble type C in the constellation Draco the northern sky . It is estimated to be 377 million light years from the Milky Way and about 30,000 light years across.

In the same area of ​​the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 6607 , NGC 6608 , NGC 6609 , NGC 6617 .

The object was discovered on September 11, 1899 by Herbert Alonzo Howe .
