Saint-Cybardeaux is a western French community with 829 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Cognac and the canton of Val de Nouère (until 2015 Hiersac ). The inhabitants are called Éparciens .

Saint-Cybardeaux is located about twenty kilometers northwest of Angoulême on the River Nouère , in the cultural landscape of the Angoumois . Saint-Cybardeaux is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Gourville in the north, Genac-Bignac in the east and northeast, Saint-Genis-d'Hiersac in the east and southeast, Saint-Amant-de-Nouère in the southeast, Échallat in the south, Vaux-Rouillac in the Southwest and Rouillac in the west.
