Baignes-Sainte-Radegonde is a French commune with 1,257 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Cognac and the canton of Charente-Sud .

Neighboring communities of Baignes-Sainte-Radegonde are Montmérac with Lamérac in the north, Touvérac in the east, Bors (Canton de Charente-Sud) in the south-east, Chantillac in the south, Vanzac and Bran in the south-west, Mortiers and Léoville in the west and Saint-Maigrin in the north-west .
The municipality is crossed in an east-west direction by the Pharaon River, which also touches the municipality's capital. The river Tâtre runs along the northern boundary of the municipality . Both belong to the Charente river system .
