Vanzac Town Hall

Vanzac is a southwestern French community with 148 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement Jonzac and the canton Les Trois Monts (until 2015 Montendre ). The inhabitants are called Vanzacais .

location

Vanzac is located in the south of the Saintonge about 70 kilometers north-northeast of Bordeaux . Vanzac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Léoville in the north and north-west, Baignes-Sainte-Radegonde in the north and east, Bran in the east, Chantillac in the south-east and Messac in the south and west.
