Saint-Martial-sur-Né (until 1937: Saint-Martial-de-Coculet ) is a French municipality with 452 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Jonzac and the canton of Jonzac ( Archiac until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Martialais .

Saint-Martial-sur-Né is located about 90 kilometers north-northeast of Bordeaux . Neighboring communities of Saint-Martial-sur-Né are Celles in the north, Salles-d'Angles in the northeast, Germignac in the east and southeast, Jarnac-Champagne in the south and southwest and Lonzac in the west.
