Saint-Martin-de-Coux is a southwestern French community with 461 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement Jonzac and the canton Les Trois Monts (until 2015 Montguyon ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Martinauds .

Saint-Martin-de-Coux is located in the south of the Saintonge about 52 kilometers northeast of Bordeaux . Saint-Martin-de-Coux is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Fouilloux in the north, Boscamnant in the north and northeast, Saint-Aigulin in the east and northeast, La Barde in the east and southeast, Chamadelle in the south, La Clotte in the west and southwest and Saint -Pierre-du-Palais to the west and north-west.
