Chatenet Town Hall

Chatenet is a southwestern French community with 222 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement Jonzac and the canton Les Trois Monts (until 2015 Montlieu-la-Garde ). The inhabitants are called Chatenois .

location

Chatenet is about 55 kilometers north-northeast of Bordeaux on the Seugne . Chatenet is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Pin in the north, Chantillac in the north and northeast, Chevanceaux in the east, Sainte-Colombe in the south and southeast, Polignac in the south and Sousmoulins in the west.
