Mazerolles is a western French community with 228 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Jonzac (until 2017 Saintes ) and the canton of Pons . The inhabitants are called Mazerollais .

location

Mazerolles is located about 22 kilometers south of Saintes in the cultural landscape of the Saintonge . Mazerolles is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Jazennes in the north and northwest, Pons in the north and east, Saint-Quantin-de-Rançanne in the south and Tanzac in the west.
