The inhabitants are called Saint-Sorlinois .

Saint-Sorlin-de-Conac is located about 41 kilometers south of Saintes on the Gironde estuary . Saint-Sorlin-de-Conac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Thomas-de-Conac in the north, Saint-Georges-des-Agoûts in the east and north-east, Saint-Bonnet-sur-Gironde in the south and south-east and Saint-Ciers- sur-Gironde in the south and southwest.
