La Barde Town Hall

La Barde is a southwestern French community with 497 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement Jonzac and the canton Les Trois Monts (until 2015 Montguyon ). The inhabitants are called Bardois .

location

La Barde is located in the south of the Saintonge about 57 kilometers northeast of Bordeaux . La Barde is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Aigulin in the north and northeast, Saint-Michel-de-Rivière in the east, Les Églisottes-et-Chalaures in the south and southeast, Chamadelle in the south and southwest and Saint-Martin-de-Coux in the West and northwest.
