Saint-Sigismond-de-Clermont is a French municipality with 159 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Jonzac and the canton of Jonzac (until 2015: canton of Saint-Genis-de-Saintonge ). The inhabitants are called Sigismonais .

Saint-Sigismond-de-Clermont is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Plassac in the north and west, Saint-Genis-de-Saintonge in the north, Clion in the northeast, Guitinières in the east, Nieul-le-Virouil in the south and south-east and Consac in the south-west.
