Clam is a French municipality with 418 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Jonzac and the canton of Jonzac . The inhabitants are called clamais .

Clam is located about 80 kilometers north-northeast of Bordeaux . The neighboring municipalities of Clam are Marignac in the north and northwest, Neulles in the north and northeast, Saint-Germain-de-Lusignan in the south and east and Saint-Georges-Antignac in the west.
