Saint-Dizant-du-Gua is a French municipality with 533 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Jonzac and the canton of Pons (until 2015 Saint-Genis-de-Saintonge ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Dizanais .

Saint-Dizant-du-Gua is located about 36 kilometers south-southwest of Saintes on the Gironde estuary . Saint-Dizant-du-Gua is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Fort-sur-Gironde in the north and north-west, Lorignac in the north and north-east, Saint-Ciers-du-Taillon in the east and south-east, Sainte-Ramée in the south-east and Saint- Thomas-de-Conac in the south.
