Rouffignac Town Hall

Rouffignac is a southwestern French community with 422 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement Jonzac and the canton Les Trois Monts (until 2015 Montendre ). The inhabitants are called Rouffignacois .

location

Rouffignac is located in the south of the Saintonge about 55 kilometers north-northeast of Bordeaux . Rouffignac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Villexavier in the north, Tugéras-Saint-Maurice in the north-east, Chartuzac in the east, Coux in the east and south-east, Chamouillac in the south and south-west, Courpignac in the west and south-west and Salignac-de-Mirambeau in the west and north-west.
