Jussas is a southwestern French community with 150 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement Jonzac and the canton Les Trois Monts (until 2015 Montendre ). The inhabitants are called Jussacais .

location

Jussas is located in the south of the Saintonge about 60 kilometers north-northeast of Bordeaux . Jussas is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montendre in the north and west, Sousmoulins in the north-east, Polignac in the east, Chepniers in the south and south-east and Corignac in the south-west.
