Saint-Germain-du-Seudre is a French municipality with 433 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Jonzac and the canton of Pons (until 2015 Saint-Genis-de-Saintonge ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Germinois .

Saint-Germain-du-Seudre is about 28 kilometers south-southwest of Saintes . Saint-Germain-du-Seudre is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Gémozac in the north, Champagnolles in the east, Saint-Fort-sur-Gironde in the south and south-west, Brie-sous-Mortagne in the west and Virollet in the north-west.
