Brie-sous-Archiac is a French municipality with 241 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Jonzac and the canton of Jonzac ( Archiac until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Briçois .

Brie-sous-Archiac is located about 88 kilometers north-northeast of Bordeaux . Neighboring communes of Brie-sous-Archiac are Arthenac in the north and north-west, Saint-Eugène in the north and north-east, Guimps in the east, Saint-Ciers-Champagne in the south and Allas-Champagne in the west.
