Saint-Quantin-de-Rançanne is a western French community with 268 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Jonzac (until 2017 Saintes ) and the canton of Pons (until 2015 Gémozac ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Quantinois .

Saint-Quantin-de-Rançanne is located about 23 kilometers south of Saintes in the cultural landscape of the Saintonge . Saint-Quantin-de-Rançanne is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Tanzac in the north and north-west, Mazerolles in the north, Pons in the north-east, Belluire in the east and south-east, Saint-Palais-de-Phiolin in the south, Champagnolles in the south-west and Givrezac in the west.
