Champagnac is a French municipality with 529 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Jonzac and the canton of Jonzac . The inhabitants are called Champagnacais .

geography

Champagnac is located about 71 kilometers north-northeast of Bordeaux . Champagnac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Réaux sur Trèfle in the north, Meux in the east and northeast, Saint-Germain-de-Vibrac in the southeast, Saint-Médard in the south, Ozillac in the south and southwest and Jonzac in the west and northwest.
