Courpignac is a French municipality with 412 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Jonzac and the canton of Pons (until 2015: canton of Mirambeau ). The inhabitants are called Courpignacais .

geography

Courpignac is about 60 kilometers north-northeast of Bordeaux . Courpignac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Soubran in the north and north-west, Salignac-de-Mirambeau in the north, Rouffignac in the east, Chamouillac in the east and south-east, Val-de-Livenne in the south and Boisredon in the west.
