Soubran is a French municipality with 380 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Jonzac and the canton of Pons (until 2015 Mirambeau ). The inhabitants are called Soubranais .
geography
Soubran is about 65 kilometers north of Bordeaux . Soubran is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Mirambeau in the north and west, Allas-Bocage in the north and northeast, Salignac-de-Mirambeau in the east, Courpignac in the south and southeast and Boisredon in the south and southwest.
