Souméras Town Hall

Souméras is a southwestern French community with 363 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement Jonzac and the canton Les Trois Monts (until 2015 Montendre ). The inhabitants are called Souméracais .

location

Souméras is located in the south of the Saintonge about 52 kilometers north-northeast of Bordeaux . Souméras is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chamouillac in the north and west, Coux in the north and northeast, Montendre in the east and Val-de-Livenne in the south and southwest.
