Mainxe-Gondeville is a French commune with 1,159 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the canton of Jarnac and the arrondissement of Cognac .

It was created with effect from January 1, 2019 as Commune nouvelle by amalgamating the previous municipalities of Mainxe and Gondeville . The former municipalities have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Gondeville.
