The canton of Ruelle-sur-Touvre was a French canton in the Charente department and in what was then the Poitou-Charentes region until 2015 . It included five parishes in the Angoulême arrondissement ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Ruelle-sur-Touvre . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015.
