The Canton of Champagne-Mouton was 2015 a French canton in the department of Charente and in the former region Poitou-Charentes . It comprised eight parishes in the Arrondissement Confolens ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Champagne-Mouton . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. Gérard Desouhant ( DVG ) was the last representative in the conseil général des Départements for the years 2001 to 2015 .
