The canton Angoulême-1 is a French canton in the department of Charente and in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It covers part of the city of Angoulême and another municipality in the Arrondissement of Angoulême . It was newly created in 2015 when the French cantons were reorganized nationwide.
