Saint-Germain-de-Montbron ( Occitan : Sent German de Montberol ) is a French municipality with 477 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The inhabitants are called Saint-Germanois .

Saint-Germain-de-Montbron is located about 18 kilometers east-southeast of Angoulême . Saint-Germain-de-Montbron is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Moulins-sur-Tardoire with Vilhonneur in the north, Vouthon in the northeast, Marthon in the east and southeast, Grassac in the south, Vouzan in the southwest and Chazelles in the west.
