Rouffiac is a French municipality with 122 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement Angoulême , the canton Tude-et-Lavalette and the municipality association Lavalette Tude Dronne, founded in 2017 . The inhabitants are called Rouffiacais .
geography
Rouffiac is located in the south of the historic Angoumois Province , about 39 kilometers south-southwest of Angoulême . Rouffiac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Orival in the north and northwest, Saint-Romain in the north and east, Les Essards in the south and southeast and Saint-Quentin-de-Chalais in the south and west.
