Palluaud is a French municipality with 228 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement Angoulême , the canton Tude-et-Lavalette and the municipality association Lavalette Tude Dronne, founded in 2017 . The inhabitants are called Palludéens .
geography
Palluaud is located in the south of the historical province of Angoumois , about 35 kilometers south-southeast of Angoulême on the Lizonne , which borders the municipality in the east. Palluaud is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Salles-Lavalette in the north, Nanteuil-Auriac-de-Bourzac in the northeast, Bouteilles-Saint-Sébastien in the east, Saint-Séverin in the south and Montignac-le-Coq in the west.
