geography

Palluaud is located in the south of the historical province of Angoumois , about 35 kilometers south-southeast of Angoulême on the Lizonne , which borders the municipality in the east. Palluaud is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Salles-Lavalette in the north, Nanteuil-Auriac-de-Bourzac in the northeast, Bouteilles-Saint-Sébastien in the east, Saint-Séverin in the south and Montignac-le-Coq in the west.
