Courlac is a French commune with a population of 54 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement Angoulême , the canton Tude-et-Lavalette and the municipality association Lavalette Tude Dronne, founded in 2017 . The inhabitants are called Courlacois .
geography
Courlac is located in the south of the historic province of Angoumois , about 39 kilometers south-southwest of Angoulême . Courlac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montboyer in the north and west, Bellon in the east and northeast, Saint-Romain in the east and southeast and Orival in the south and southwest.
