Brie is about 13 kilometers northeast of Angoulême . Brie is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Jauldes in the north, Agris in the northeast, Saint-Projet-Saint-Constant in the east, Mornac in the south, Ruelle-sur-Touvre in the southwest, Champniers in the west and Anais in the northwest.
Part of the international airport Angoulême-Cognac is located in the municipality . Route nationale 141 runs in the south of the municipality .
