Attractions
- The former priory church and today's parish church of Saint-Nazaire was built in the 12th century and is made of well-hewn stones; however, multiple modifications changed its external appearance. The apse , divided by half-columns with resting arcade arches, is to be emphasized , the exposed windows with inserted columns ensure a further loosening of the wall and the room. The apse calotte , on the other hand, is completely unstructured and without decoration. Today's altar and the two angels kneeling to the side are works of the 19th century.
- outside
- About one kilometer northeast of the village is the Benedictine monastery of Abbaye Sainte-Marie de Maumont, founded in 1957 by nuns from Saint-Jean-d'Angély . It is located in the abandoned buildings of the former Château de Maumont , but was expanded enormously with additions in the following years. The abbey buildings partially serve as a retirement home; In addition, the nuns host guests and make liturgical vestments.
