The narrow-gauge railway of GMK Dalpolimetall ( Russian Узкоколейная железная дорога ГМК "Дальполиметалл" , transkr. Uskokoleinaja schelesnaja doroga GMK "Dalpolimetall" , transl. Uzkokolejnaâ železnaâ doroga GMK "Dal'polimetall" ) or narrow-gauge railway Tetjuche ( Russian Тетюхинская узкоколейная железная дорога , transkr. Tetjuchinskaja uskokoleinaja schelesnaja doroga , transl. Tetûhinskaâ uzkokolejnaâ železnaâ doroga ) is a narrow-gauge railway that is still five kilometers long with a gauge of 750 mm for the transport of lead-zinc ores near Dalnegorsk in the Primorye region in Russia .

The construction of the narrow-gauge railway line from Tetjuche-Pristan (now Rudnaja Pristan , Russian Ру́дная При́стань, literally translated Erzkai) to Tetjuche (Russian Те́тюхе; Chinese野豬 河; pinyin Yĕzhūhé; literally translated he was renamed Wildschweinfluss in 1973 to Dalnegorsk) in 1908 of the company of Julius Joseph Bryner (* 1849 La Roche ; † 1920 in Vladivostok ). The stretch from Tetjuche-Pristan to Tetjuche was put into operation in 1911, its length was 38 km, the track width 600 mm. The locomotive depot was built in the village of Tetjuche, the rail vehicles originally consisted of four locomotives, 80 wagons for transporting ore and 14 flat wagons for transporting wood.

The narrow-gauge railway was later at a track width of 750 mm umgespurt . In 1932 it was nationalized and further developed. New Soviet locomotives were used on it.

The narrow-gauge railway transported ore, wood, machinery and equipment for mines, various goods for the needs of the village and passengers. The length of the narrow-gauge railway network was more than 70 kilometers at its peak. In the 1960s, the steam locomotives were replaced by diesel locomotives. At around the same time, passenger traffic was stopped. In 1991 the narrow-gauge railway became the property of GMK Dalpolimetall. The condition of the track on the route from Dalnegorsk to Rudnaya Prystan gradually deteriorated.

Current status

At the beginning of 2006, the owners of the geological-metallurgical complex (GMK, Russian Горно-металлургический комплекс ) Dalpolimetall decided to transport ore concentrate from Dalnegorsk to Rudnaya Pristan by road. Soon afterwards, the narrow-gauge railway line was dismantled over a length of at least 36 kilometers. In the summer of 2006, the route was dismantled over most of the remaining length. The route from the mines to Rudnaya was retained to transport the ore to the concentrator. In the summer of 2007 the track was repaired and the sleepers were completely renewed in many areas. In 2013, two TU7 locomotives were in operation around the clock on the route from the two mines to the factory.
