The Schroeder Hill is a 2,680 m high and rocky hill in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Cumulus Hills of the Queen Maud Mountains , the hill rises 5.5 km southeast of Ellis Bluff .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1966 after Henry B. Schroeder, meteorologist for the United States Antarctic Research Program at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in the Antarctic winter of 1964, who also worked as a field research assistant at Byrd Station from 1964 to 1965 .
