The Schroeder Peak is a 2,230 m high mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Churchill Mountains it rises 6 km northwest of Mount Kopere in the Cobham Range .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after James E. Schroeder, glaciologist with the United States Antarctic Research Program , the from 1959 to 1960 worked on the Little America V station .
