Baron Lucas of Chilworth , of Chilworth in the County of Southampton , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

Award and history of the title

The title was bestowed on the entrepreneur and Labor politician George Lucas on June 27, 1946 .

Today's title holder is his son Simon Lucas as 3rd Baron.
