Baron Netherthorpe

Baron Netherthorpe , of Anston in the West Riding of the County of York , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

The family seat of the barons is Boothby Hall in Boothby Pagnell near Grantham in Lincolnshire .

Award

The title was created for James Turner on March 10, 1959 . He was President of the National Farmers' Union of England and Wales and the Royal Agricultural Society of England . Today's title holder has been his grandson as 3rd Baron since 1982.
