Baron Raglan
Baron Raglan , of Raglan in the County of Monmouth , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
The family seat of the barons is Cefntilla Court near Usk in Monmouthshire.
Award
The title was created in 1852 for General and MP Fitzroy Somerset , the youngest son of Henry Somerset, 5th Duke of Beaufort . This received the title immediately before he became commander in chief of the British troops in the Crimean War . He died during the war.
