Baron Riverdale
Baron Riverdale , of Sheffield in the County of York , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award
The title was created on June 27, 1935 for the industrialist Sir Arthur Balfour, 1st Baronet . As early as June 26, 1929, he had been awarded the title Baronet , of Sheffield in the County of York in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom .
Today's title holder has been his great-grandson Anthony Balfour as 3rd Baron since 1998 .
