Viscount Rochdale
Viscount Rochdale , of Rochdale in the County Palatine of Lancaster , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award and subordinate titles
The title was created on January 20, 1960 for John Kemp, 2nd Baron Rochdale .
In 1945 he had inherited from his father on February 14, 1913 for this created title Baron Rochdale , of Rochdale in the County Palatine of Lancaster. The baron title also belongs to the Peerage of the United Kingdom and has since been listed as a subordinate title to the Viscount.
