Baron Strathcarron

Baron Strathcarron , of Banchor in the County of Inverness , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

Award

The title was created on January 11, 1936 for the lawyer and liberal politician Sir Ian Macpherson, 1st Baronet . On April 26, 1933, he was given the subordinate title Baronet , of Drumalban in Scotland.

Today's title holder has been his grandson Andrew Wigram as 3rd Baron since 2017 .

The heir ( Heir Apparent ) is the son of the current title holder, Hon. Rory Macpherson (* 1982).
