Baron Westbury
Baron Westbury , of Westbury in the County of Wiltshire , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award
The title was bestowed on June 27, 1861 by letters patent to the lawyer and member of the House of Commons Sir Richard Bethell , on the occasion of his appointment as Lord Chancellor .
Today's title holder has been his great-great-great-grandson Richard Bethell as the 6th Baron since 2001 .
