occupation

Jurassic Shark 3 is an American horror film directed by Patt Corbitt, which was released in 2002 for the US market under the title "Megalodon". The film was re-released in 2013 under the title "Jurassic Shark 3" as a sequel to Brett Kelly's Jurassic Shark (2012) and Zac Reeder's Great White (in Germany Jurassic Shark 2 ) (1998), but has nothing to do with the named titles.

action

Off the coast of Greenland in the North Atlantic is the newly constructed oil drilling platform "Colossus", the drill bit is supposed to reach deeper than that of all other platforms. The platform has been criticized because of the great drilling depth. Peter Brazier, CEO of the Colossus company Nexecon, therefore invites reporter Christen Giddings and her cameraman Jake Thompson to the oil rig.

After the start of the work, the drill head first encounters a presumably extensive oil field. Instead of stopping work, however, the drilling continues, and at a very great depth the drill head encounters a cavity filled with water - a prehistoric, subterranean ocean full of living things that has been untouched for millions of years.

A megalodon escapes the cavity and attacks the drilling platform, gradually killing several employees and Thompson before the shark can be killed by an employee using an explosive charge.

publication

The film was released on DVD in 2004 under the name Megalodon . On November 29, 2013, the film was marketed on DVD under the name Jurassic Shark 3 . All three parts were released on April 25, 2014 in the Jurassic Shark Box on a DVD.
