Jurassic Shark is a Canadian horror film directed by Brett Kelly from 2012. In Germany, the film was marketed as the first part of the films Jurassic Shark 2 (from 1998) and Jurassic Shark 3 (from 2002). The three films have nothing to do with each other.
action
The prehistoric primeval shark Megalodon was accidentally awakened from its slumber while drilling oil on an island. At the same time, teenagers and a group of art thieves are on the island and are being terrorized by the monster . Both groups join forces to repel the deadly attacks. Two teenage girls are left and defeat the basking shark, but then another primeval shark appears nearby and kills two fishermen .
Sequels
In 2013, the second part Jurassic Shark 2 appeared , which was actually produced in 2002. The film is also known under the title Megalodon . In the same year came out the third part Jurassic Shark 3 , which dates from 1998. This film has also been released under the name Great White and Shark . Except for the German title, both have nothing to do with the first part.
reception
On August 7, 2015, the film received 1,500 user ratings in the IMDb and thus exceeded the minimum number of user ratings required to get into the Bottom 100, the 100 worst films of all time. He immediately landed in first place and held it until he heard about potato salad on September 4, 2015 - don't ask! was pushed into second place.
